A faith based, Christ centered, addiction program designed to direct the addicted back to God's support group--the local church. What helps those who come overcome their addictions and sinful habits is the curriculum. God's Word is powerful! And learning, studying, and applying God's Word will no doubt change your life. No only do those who suffer with addictions utilize this material - family members and friends of the addicted also benefit. They too begin making incredible changes in their lives which in turn encourages the addicted and others.

One of our rewarding ministries is our Bible Institute. One night per week, classes are taught in New Testament Survey, Old Testament Survey, and basic Theology or Bible Doctrines for a 16 week semester. These classes are for the student who has a serious interest in a basic, systematic program of Bible instruction. A diploma in Biblical Studies will be awarded to those who successfully complete the three year, six semesters of study. Certificates of completion are awarded to those who complete a specified class. Semesters begin in January and August.

Liberty Publications

Our church has an in-house Christian book store from which you can obtain Bibles and new testaments at discounted prices. We also have a variety of Christian books, tapes, greeting cards and gifts. Liberty Publications also prints our own Church forms, Bible Institute forms and Gospel tracts. Weekly reports are gathered to motivate the systematic spread of the Gospel via tracts.

Biblical Counseling

We are fearfully and wonderfully made and placed in a world that has many enemies and challenges. Many feel life is hopeless and nothing will ever change.  The Bible has Good News. Psalm 107:20 says, "He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction." God offers hope, light and substantive help from His Word!

Bus Ministry

We have three bus routes.  These routes go to several surrounding communities that include Brookfield, Masury, Vienna, Niles and Warren, Ohio and Sharon, PA. If you or someone you know would be interested in Sunday morning bus transportation, please call the church office at 330-638-1578.

Church Choir

We have been blessed with voices, singing praises to our Lord! Our church choir performs musical numbers, throughout the year. Practices are usually held on Sunday afternoons, around 4:30pm. This ministry is led by Bro. Dale Shirley, so if you would like to add your vocal talents, or learn more about this opportunity to serve Christ, please call him at the church.

Missions

We currently support 35 missionaries and 6 mission projects via Faith Promise Giving and 10% of general church income. Supported missionaries serve Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England, Germany, Haiti, India, Japan, Kenya, Laos, Malawi, Mexico, New Zealand, Northwest Territory, Philippines, Russia, USA and Zambia.

Radio Ministry and Audio Recordings

“The Bible Stands” broadcast will now be featured on WHKW 1220 AM, at 12:00 pm NOON, each Sunday. WHKW is a Christian radio station based out of Cleveland, Ohio. The broadcast will also be simulcast on WHKZ 1440 AM at the same time. WHKZ is a repeater station for WHKW, based out of Warren, Ohio. You can also listen to our broadcast via the internet, through streaming audio, at 12:00 p.m. NOON. The website for the station is http://www.whkwradio.com. All that you have to do to listen live, is click on the large “Listen Live” picture at the top of the screen at the time the broadcast begins. This is an incredible opportunity to share the message of Christ to people all across the globe! If you have friends or relatives living in other states, or countries, let them know! They too can be blessed by Pastor McCracken’s weekly messages.

Also, Liberty Bible Church has available copies of individual sermons on compact disc.

Men's and Women's Fellowship

Our newest ministry is a fellowship of our own men and their sons. We are scheduled to meet monthly for a time of wholesome family fellowship and a challenge from God's Word to be the kind of men God would have us be. The ladies also meet monthly for an informal time of Bible study and fellowship.

Children's and Teen Programs

Besides the traditional Sunday School, we have an exciting, comprehensive children's program on Sunday mornings.  Teen church is held Sunday morning and there is a monthly activity planned for them. Sunday night services are devoted to Bible preaching and Wednesday night services to Bible teaching. Thursday night are our soul winning and visitation programs. You are invited to any or all of the above.

We provide nurserires for children ages 3 and below.

Needless to say, there is a small army of folk involved in the above. We have some very dear and dedicated folk as part of Liberty Bible Church. None of us are perfect but we have found a perfect Savior! We don't feel we have a "corner on the Gospel," but just consider ourselves one beggar telling other beggars where to find bread.
