WHKW Broadcast 1 – How to be a Good Christian

Concluding Remarks:

You have been listening to Pastor Allan McCracken as he opened up the scriptures to teach us how to be good Christians. The bible teaches us in Mark 1:17 that if we follow Jesus Christ then he will make us “fishers of men” or in other words, Jesus will turn us into soul winners if we will follow Him. So then these questions must be asked. Are you a fisher of men? Are you winning lost souls for Jesus? Is there a burden on your heart for the unsaved sinner? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, then contact us & share your stories of victory. If you have answered no to any of these questions, then it may be time for you to examine your relationship with Jesus Christ. 

If you don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ personally, then let me give you that opportunity now. Understand that the wages of sin is death, and you are headed for an eternity in Hell separated from the Love of Christ. Understand that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. Understand that God loved you so much that he shed the blood of His only begotten Son, so that you would not perish but have everlasting life in Heaven. All that you have to do is tell Jesus you are sorry for your sin, & accept his death on the cross as your payment. 

If you are unsure of what to say, you can follow along as I pray…Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. Please forgive me for my rebellion against you. Please come into my heart & save me. Thank you for making me a new creature. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

If you have just said this prayer & meant it from the bottom of your heart, then according to the Bible, God, who cannot lie, forgave your sins & will take you to Heaven when you die. You see, the bible says that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, and if you meant this with all of your heart, then you too will have eternal life.
