      If you can, please open your bibles to 1 Peter 5:7. Today, Pastor Allan is going to use this scripture as the basis for his message titled, Solving Life’s Problems the Christian Way. The truth is that we all have problems, but what do we do to solve them? You see, God has provided mankind with an instruction manual for living in this world & He has made provision for us so that we wouldn’t have to bear life’s burdens alone. If you are going through a difficult time, then I want to especially encourage you to stay tuned as Pastor Allan teaches us how to solve life’s problems the Christian way.

      All of this is part of Solving Life’s Problems the Christian Way, today’s message from Pastor Allan McCracken. So what problems are you dealing with today? Are you trying to solve them the bible way, or are you trying to solve them through your own strength? If we try to solve the problem in our strength, it is bound to fail, but remember that it is God’s power that energizes us, & not our own. God will make a way for us to endure, but only if we are reconciled to Him.

      Now, if you have never accepted Christ as your Savior, then you have never been reconciled to God. However, if you want to get right with Him, then all that you have to do is ask Jesus to come into your heart & save you. The Bible teaches us that our prayer must be from the heart, & not just words. Romans 10:9-10 says “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” 

      So if you’re not sure how to pray, feel free to repeat after me…Dear God, I am a sinner & I need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood & died for my sin. I am willing to turn from my rebellious ways & invite Christ to come into my heart to become my own personal Lord & Savior. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

      If you have just said this prayer, then God, who cannot lie, forgave your sins & will take you to Heaven when you die. You see, the bible says that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, and if you meant this with all of your heart, then you too will now have eternal life.
