Today, Pastor McCracken taught us some lessons on how to avoid the deception of the devil. The truth is however, that whoever is your spiritual father or guides, you will act like. If God is your father, than you will act like God. That is why when someone truly is born again into the family of Christ, you can see a difference. God’s word will direct us to the life saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. However, to the people who are not saved, God’s word is a closed book. When you get saved, God’s word begins to make sense, & that is a sign of true freedom. If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord & savior, then you cannot know true freedom. Who will forgive you of your sins? Who will make peace between you & God? Who will break the chains of your addictions? Who will save you from an eternity in Hell? Jesus is the answer. If you are unsure of your salvation, or if you are unsure of your relationship to Jesus, then just ask him to come into your heart right now & save you. This way you can fully know 100% that you are saved & that you will go to Heaven. If you’re not sure how to pray, feel free to pray along with me…Dear God, I am a sinner & I need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood & died for my sin. I am willing to turn from my rebellious ways, & invite Christ to come into my heart to become my own personal Lord & Savior.
