	For today’s broadcast, we will be returning to the subject of divorce as discussed in the bible. This broadcast is a continuation of the program that aired last time. To help with today’s message, we will be replaying just a small portion from the first part of this series, in case some or our listeners were unable to joins us last time. So please stay tuned as Pastor Allan continues this message on divorce.

                                      Today’s broadcast concluded a two part series on the subject of divorce. We have learned that it is never God’s plan for anyone to be divorced, in fact God says in Malachi 2:16, that He hates divorce. According to the Bible, God’s plan is that marriage be a lifetime commitment. Matthew 19:6 states, “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” God realizes, though, that since a marriage involves two sinful human beings, divorce is going to occur. In the Old Testament, He laid down some laws in order to protect the rights of divorcees, especially women. Typically, men would discard their wives for any reason at all, so the Lord sought to curtail this by giving out this law. Jesus also pointed out that these laws were given because of the hardness of people’s hearts, not because they were God’s desire
                                      
                                      Now, God recognizes that divorces will occur, even among His children. If you are a divorced and/or remarried believer, you should not feel any less loved by God. God often uses even the sinful disobedience of Christians to accomplish great good. Now if you are not a Christian & today’s message has convicted your heart, then we invite you to come to Christ & ask Him to be your own Lord & Savior. This way you can fully know 100% that your sins are forgiven & that you will go to Heaven when you die.

                                      If you’re not sure how to pray, feel free to pray along with me …Dear God, I am a sinner & I need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood & died for my sin. I am willing to turn from my rebellious ways, & invite Christ to come into my heart to become my own personal Lord & Savior. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

The bible says in Romans 10:13 that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, and if you meant this with all of your heart, then you too will now have eternal life.
