	Please turn your bibles to Luke chapter 16, starting at verse 11. Today, Pastor Allan is going to open the scriptures concerning the story of the Prodigal Son. Rather than teach on the specifics of the passage, homiletically, Pastor McCracken will make some observations that will teach us some truths for living. Most everyone knows the story of the Prodigal Son, but have you ever applied its principles to your own life? Please stay with us as we now listen in on Pastor Allan’s message.

                                      Today Pastor Allan has taught us how the Prodigal Son made some bad choices & the consequences that followed. These are definitely some truths that we can all relate to. Let me ask you folks, how are you making it in the world? Are things working out as perfectly as you planned, or do you find yourself in a far away land, eating food fit for swine? Your Heavenly Father knows your situation & wants to meet you right where you are. Why not return to Him & allow Him to give you the peace that passes all understanding? 

If you don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ personally, then let me give you that opportunity now. Understand that the wages of sin is death, and you are headed for an eternity in Hell separated from the Love of Christ. Understand that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. Understand that God loved you so much that he shed the blood of His only begotten Son, so that you would not perish but have everlasting life in Heaven. All that you have to do is tell Jesus you are sorry for your sin, & accept his death on the cross as your payment. 

If you are unsure of what to say, you can follow along as I pray…Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. Please forgive me for my rebellion against you. Please come into my heart & save me. Thank you for making me a new creature. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

                                      If you have just said this prayer, then God forgave your sins & will take you to Heaven when you die. Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”, and if you believe this in your heart, then you too will have eternal life.
