Introduction:

	For our broadcast, this morning, Pastor Allan will be returning to his message on “Getting Off the Fence”.  As you may recall, we were all challenged with making a choice to follow Christ. The Lord wants us to trust in Him & allow Him to use us for His glory, so that we would impact this world for Jesus. Today’s broadcast is a continuation of the program that we aired last time. So please open your bibles to first Kings, chapter 18, & let’s join Pastor Allan.

                                      Thank you for joining us today & allowing this ministry to be part of your morning.  Pastor McCracken hopes that this broadcast will encourage us all to get off the fence & choose the Lord Jesus Christ.                                       Today, Pastor Allan finished the second half of his message on getting off the fence, & choosing to side with the Lord. What side of the fence are you on today? You see we call ourselves Christians, but do we really live by our convictions? Do we act one way in church, but then act in the opposite way when we are at home? God wants us to be genuine Christians, not just in name, but through our actions as well. The Gospel of Christ will make a difference in your life. If you say that you are a Christian, but you don’t see a difference, then it is time to re-evaluate your relationship to Jesus Christ. I’m not talking about perfection, but if you sin with impunity, then there is a problem. Many individuals are satisfied with just the knowledge of the Lord, but lack the passion to live for Jesus & the truth of His Word. So what side of the fence are you on today?

                                      If you are unsure of your salvation, or if you have backslidden, then please take this opportunity to ask Jesus into your life. Understand that the wages of sin is death, and you are headed for an eternity in Hell separated from the Love of Christ. Understand that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. Understand that God loved you so much that he shed the blood of His only begotten Son, so that you would not perish but have everlasting life in Heaven. All that you have to do is tell Jesus you are sorry for your sin, & accept his death on the cross as your payment. 

                                      If you are unsure of what to say, you can repeat my words as I pray…Heavenly Father, I am a sinner. Please forgive me for my rebellion against you. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood & died for my sin. Please come into my heart & save me. Thank You for making me a new creature. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

                                      If you have just said this prayer, then God forgave your sins & will take you to Heaven when you die. Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”, and if you believe this in your heart, then you too will have eternal life.
